I want to start off by saying welcome to my blog, Stamped Creations by Heather. This is my second blog, most of you will recognize my name from my old one : Creations by Heather, which is no longer up and running. Or you may recognize me by my old last name of Heather Wachtman. I took a little over a year off to recoup with life and the changes I went through in 2010 and started fresh. If you don't know me from there then this section will clue you in to a little bit about me.
Enjoy!
My name is Heather Cserni
I am 23 years old and a mother to five beautiful children -
Victoria, Caleb, Annabelle, Chloe and lastly Ellowyn.

Ellowyn
They are the apples of my eye and the little terrors who drive me bonkers all in the same moment. My little girls are all big diva's who love to dance, sing and look glamours while my only little man is just that - a little man that is tired of being surrounded by women and will push any button he can get his fingers on! It has and is an absolute joy and blessing getting to spend every moment with them watching them grow into who they are today, will be tomorrow and who they will be in the future. Being a mother is by far my favorite job.
I am married to the love of my life, Joe.
He is a complete goofball, an amazing husband and my best friend. Not to mention he supports my crazy crafting and Stampin' Up! addiction!
Here I am 7 1/2 months pregnant with Ellowyn.
I said he was a complete goofball right?!
Our life has been a little hectic the last couple of years.
We recently parted from the Active Duty Military life in early 2011 where we were stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. We moved from there to Colorado and after only a little over a month there we decided it wasn't the right fit for what my husband is going to school for and made the hard decision to move to Washington. Washington is my home state, it's great to be back home but feels like a completely different place from where I grew up at as it has changed drastically.
I've been a aspiring photographer and crafter for many years. In early 2009 I was re-introduced to Stampin' Up! by my wonderful Upline Torie Gotaas. The deal in May to become a demonstrator for only $75 to me was amazing because I already owned a abundance of Stampin' Up! supplies that I didn't feel the need to purchase the large starter kit.
Since May I have been pushing head strong into my business hoping to make a fantastic name for myself while showing others my passion and love for creativity. I've been loving every minute of it! Sure when I'm in full swing of things it can be chaotic and busy but it's what keeps me going. I love sharing what I do with others but most of all I love seeing the looks and expressions of the people who attend my events or just come over to craft. The looks of accomplishment and achievement when they've finished their projects and think to themselves, "I just made that," is heart warming.
The rest, well, it's history.
Welcome to a little slice of my life. I try to live in the moment and make the best out of each situation. If you are a crafter of any type, I hope that you are able to find my blog helpful or a place to look for inspiration. I know it's a work in progress as I'm usually always tinkering with something on here and I can still say that I'm new to this whole world of blogging, there is some stuff that I still find very bewildering believe it or not!
I give to you my promise to work my hardest to turn this into a place where you can learn new techniques, snag a layout or two, or help you get those projects spiced up!
I love what I do and do what I love. I'm your creative coach and Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Hi Heather I tried contacting you on your SU website, but couldn't for some reason. Anyway, my question was about becoming a demonstrator. The problem is that we have only 1 vehicle, which is why I want to do something that I love to do and hopefully be able to afford a 2nd vehicle. I have been crafting for the past 25+ years and my cousin, who's a demonstrator, told me that I can hold workshops in my home when I can't use the car. Do you think this would be a good thing for me to do or should I look elsewhere. Thank you for your input and taking the time to read this.
ReplyDeleteLisa, first off I want to say thank you for visiting my blog. I'm sorry that you were not able to contact me through my Stampin' Up! website, I will have to look into that. In the mean time please feel free to email me at : stampedcreationsbyheather@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI answer emails daily and it makes communication much easier!
Now to answer your question, becoming a demonstrator with a goal in mind is the best idea. Whether it be you wanting another income to be able to purchase another vehicle to you wanting to do this as a hobby and get discounts on products or even earning one of the Stampin' Up! cruises. If you think this is a job you'd love to do then I'd say go for it and sign up. With 25+ years of experience I'm sure you'd excel well at our job of being a demonstrator.
If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask anytime!
